ds who is nearly 7 suddenly decided on Thursday night that his tummy didn't feel right ( but said it wasn't tummyache)and that he might be sick. He wasn't sick and slept o.k.

Then, friday he was the same, pale, not eating tummy not right and temperature up a bit 37.5 but slept o.k.

this afternoon he said he felt better, was even dancing around etc and then come 6.oclock he feels unwell again.

He sounds a bit chesty but isn't coughing much and has also had a croaky sounding throat for about 3 weeks, don't know if that is connected in any way.
what could it be? please help, i'm a terrible worrier.

festive face, having been seeing loads of kids with these symptoms at work and the chap is the same, swinging between beeing absolutely fine then being sike and spiking a temp... I hate the words viral infect... but it probably is. Hope the wee monkey is feeling better soon xx

hope so but just scared myself now reading up on google. apparently having a hoarse throat for that long should always be investigated and could be infection of the voice box and alsorts.

Do not look up illness symptons on internet - it will drive you crazy!

I'm sure its the nasty flu/sickness virus. My ds (6) has been the same cold symptoms and achey tummy. Its gone now but hung arround for several weeks.

feel a bit bad though, i mean maybe i should have had him checked out as everyones been commenting on his hoarse voice, he's had it at least 3 weeks but said it wasn't sore.

why can't my doctors be open sundays..
