has anyone else out there had this? i have just been diagnosed after crying my way into a dermatology clinic. i'm interested to hear any comments.........

Yup, I had it around 10 years ago. It only occurred once, and the doctor knew what it was straight away, so I guess it isn't that uncommon.

I understand that it begins with what they call a 'herald patch' - with me it was under my left forearm. It then spreads around the body.

I wouldn't worry, because it cleared up pretty quickly and didnt come back. I hope your's does too.

Yes I had it. Diagnosed by GP and was told it would clear by itself within 21 days.
It did. Probably about 40 yrs ago?
Not had it since.
