Anyone? I was told that you need decent amounts of protein in your diet. My hair has always been v v fine and v v slow growing. I tried nuriken(I think I've spelled this wrong) tablets years ago and they did seem to make a difference BUT it cost about £40 for a months supply and I just couldn't afford to keep taking them which was a shame. I'd love to know too if there is anything cheaper that's as good.

there's a supplement in boots etc, something like perfectil i think, that they also have own brands of, which is aimed at healthy skin, hair nails etc. link about the range here www.vitabiotics.com/Perfectil/ (I don't work for them or have shares Grin - like i said you can get own brands cheaper I think).

this link is quite good www.bbcgoodfood.com/content/wellbeing/features/skin-glow/1/ - I think the omega 3 and 6 oils tend to be good for hair too, - in fact the foods listed should improve skin, nails and hair. don't know if this is the kind of info you're after.

I try to eat sunflower seeds in salads and things because they are meant to be good for skin and hair I think. They are quite cheap too.

Found the thermometer, DH had put it back where it belongs. I did not look there Blush as its never where it should be!

I used to drink Aloe Vera juice (they sell it in holland and barrets) that did wonders for my skin but it's pretty pricey IMO, I'm convinced that Provamil Almond Milk is having an effect on my skin.
