Tummy tonsilitis

My dd has a very high temperature and is complaining of a pain in her tummy. The Dr. diagnosed tonsilitis and has put her on an ab. My dd says she has no pain in her throat. Her tonsils look red but nothing angry like when my ds gets tonsilitis. For 3 days she has done nothing but sleep. Does anyone have any experience of tonsilitis where all the pain is in the tummy ?

Is she eating? It could be hunger that she is experiencing!

There is something about small children being unable to feel pain in their throat - it gets transferred to their tummy. Our GP mentioned it this week. Me and DW have bad throats and DD has mentioned having a sore tummy.
