weight gain and tiredness on Yasmin??

dd is on Yasmin for PCOS , she has tried microgynon which made her sleep all over the place and feel sick

4 months on on Yasmin and she's gained weight and feeling tired a lot

This pill is supposed to be one not to cause weight gain?

ANyone else have similar side effects?

Are you sure it's the pill causing the tiredness? Could be anemia or thyroid, to name a few. Maybe a few blood tests to check?

Yasmin used to be marketed as the pill that wouldn't affect your skin or weight but the adverts were found to be misleading and were withdrawn.

It may be that a different pill suits her better. Unfortunately everyone is different and so it may take some trial and error.
