Forgot to say that I have ordered the ear thermometer and a pack of 40 filter caps for it, plus special delivery costs.. all for under £20!! These ear thermometers are £24.99 in Argos which is about the cheapest you will find them elsewhere.

They are such a good investment. I paid £40 for a Braun one when ds1 was a baby (almost 9 years ago) and I've never regretted it. I can't read mercury thermometers and these are so fast.
