Just asking as I think I might have shingles. I've had pain on one area of my neck for about 6 days, on and off, the skin feels like it is sunburnt iyswim. No rash really yet, just a few little bumps.
My boys had chicken pox several weeks ago. I know you're not meant to get it from that but I have known/heard of a lot of people for whom it seemed to reactivate it, so I am guessing.
Going to GP tomorrow, so I will ask then, but I read that the doctor needs to assess whether the risk is worthwhile with giving antivirals during pregnancy, so I thought I'd ask if anyone here has had this issue and what happened.
