P.M.T is really getting me down every month. It casts a black clould over my life more than it ever has before.I have always been iregular and periods lasted for 4 days at most.
Now i am every 27 days and feel so depressed and the self destruction i feels like i am in the thows of deppression. Is there anything on the market or i can do to make life for all my family more bearable

Acupuncture - def worked for me. And you get a relaxing half-hour lying down while it works.

And - IT DOESN'T HURT! Promise!

Apparently cut out caffeine in your diet or a large portion. Caffeine makes PMT worse....aparently

Do you eat alot of prepacked foods/convience foods ratherthan non additive stuff?.

I always find when i do slimming world which has lots of free stuff that is high in additives i always get more pmt/ swollen boobs/anger/snapping than when i dont as i usually try and avoid as much pre packed stuff as i can.

When i lived at home yrs ago i always used to get it bad then because everything was pre made and not fresh.

come to think of, i did atkins for a while and ate nothing but natural ingredients in every meal. The difference in my IBS, skin and general mood was amazing. takes loads of will power tho, which has now very much faded lol

That's interesting about the prepared food. I don't usually eat much convenience food but the last few months I have been pretty disfunctional (DD isn't much of a sleeper !) so have eaten much more convenience food than usual. Same with caffeine.

When you're tired it's so hard to find the extra bit of energy needed to eat healthily. It would be worth it though.

I guess I should moderate my chocolate habit too!

Budababe - I had acupuncture once a few years ago when pregnant and it was going fine until one particular spot which induced the most horrible panic attack. It was really creepy. I don't think I'm quite brave enough for try it again.

Thanks so much for the suggestions Smile
