ENT referral in north london - how long do they take???

Hi

My DS has just had an ENT referral as he is having terrible problems sleeping due to being constantly congested.
My GP referred him last week but she had no idea how long it would take. Does anyone have any idea. I'm thinking of going private if it is a long wait as we all need to get some sleep!

God if i have to wait until August i think we will all die from lack of sleep!!!!

hi i am waiting for an ent referral for my ds i received a letter last week to say it will be another 13 weeks before they send me an appointment so it will be 15 weeks waiting before i even get appointment we are in south london.

Oh my god that's crazy! My GP thinks they see children quicker than adults but couldn't give me an idea of how long to will take. I think i'll enquire about how much it would cost to go private as we are having major problms with my DS's sleep and we are just struggling at the moment so the thought that it will probably be months before something is done is just too much for us to contemplate at the moment!
