Painful after effects of smear test

I had a smear yesterday, it took 5 attempts (cervix in funny position) and me auditioning for contortionist of the year before the nurse managed to get a swab.
Since, I have had a bit of bleeding, and it hurts to wee. Is this within the realms of normal?

That happened to me on my last smear. Tilted cervix, hard to reach etc. The nurse nearly killed me, I remember bursting into tears driving home afterwards (wimp)! I was sore and bleeding for approx 3 days after them tip top afterwards. Try not to worry.
