Hi all. Just managed to log on.
That's a pain, Gig. Is there someone local you could ring up to come and give you a hand for the next hour or two?
Crikey, Topsy - that's all you need. Good luck for the op, I'm sure it will do the trick then you'll be on the mend.
Sorry to hear about your hospital stay Greylady. Hopefully you will soon start feeling better now they've identified the nasty blighter. I had pneumonia and pleurisy many moons ago and it's awful so I sympathise.
KK, that's a shame but I can understand you clicking too much, I'd be the same if I thought my answer hadn't registered. At least, when you do it again, you will know to go easy with the clicks. Enjoy DDs choc brownies - you deserve a treat. Love the sound of red hair. But, be warned, it will make people think you're a bit extrovert, even if you're not. That's what one of my good friends told me last year when she succumbed to a head of red hair.
Gracie, hope you gt good news from your onc. It will be good if you have a syringe driver. I wish I had one but was never offered it. I was sick for about 6 or 7 days after each session and none of the tablets touched it. I got through it but wish it had been easier.
Sometimes, you're probably not going to be on again for a few days but I'll be thinking of you.
Baskets, just wanted to say I understand your post about your priorities changing. Before my dx I always wanted to be out and about, doing stuff, planning holidays. Now I am content to just....be.
Had a lovely long chat with my BC nurse today, she has given me a couple of new, larger softies to take away on holiday - they will be lighter to wear and more comfy I hope - plus I can use one for swimming. We're going on the 28th MAS.
