Is it safe to use homeopathic remedies before and after a general anesthetic?? Arnica, etc.,

I used arnica after an operation a few years ago for an ovarian cyst and was ok.

I used arnica before after and during a major emergency abdo surgery for an ectopic (never leave home without it in my handbag - doctors were fine about it, even supportive!)

I have been told to start taking arnica a few days before an operation in March

As far as I'm aware arnic is fine. Some homeopathic remidies are not sutable as they can affect the bloods cloting mechanisms. To my knowledge arnica is not one of these and is good for healing post operatively, actually a recent medical study found arnica gel to be more effective the ibuprofen gel.
Sorry ramblimg on, ment to say, that you should discuss with a homeopath and your anesthatisc at your pre op assessment, to be on the safe side.
