She was sick this morning, has been a bit temperaturey etc and asleep this pm. She has never had a tummy upset before, really wants a boiled egg now is that advisable?

my mom always used to give me egg when i was ill as a little girl and i often turn to it as a comfort fod when i`m poorly so give it a go and grab a bucket

I would let her have it. I know when I had recent mild tummy bug I had very specific food wants - that there were only a few things I could stomach.

yes I figured as it is bug not food poisnoning it should be ok, thanks

if vomiting then best to give no food, and in particular avoid dairy and fruit/ juice.

Dry toast or ginger biscuits good to try out to see if she can keep them down.

Flat coke is good to drink - NOt diet version though
