How do you cope with knowing there's a 33% chance of a recurrence? Mostly I don't think about it, but sometimes I wonder if I should have some preparations in place.

weemumbelina, I'm not sure what preparations you can make really. Living the new normal after cancer is quite a challenge imo..

Why don't you come over to Tamoxifen thread and say hi? Lots of us on there have had cancer, mostly breast, but some other types too. Really helps to talk to those who get how scary it all is. Women on there keep me sane(ish!)

Personally I don't manage it well. But I've had had secondary cancer. Not a helpful answer but the truth.
