Dp got up early, did all of the housework, emptied the dishwasher, did the washing, put it on the line, filled up the dishwasher again, then brought me a cup of tea in bed, told me to stay in bed because he was going to look after me today.

Maybe I'm not ill, I'm just in shock!

Do you hire him out?

LadyTophamHatt · 11/02/2006 09:53

"did the washing, put it on the line"

do men actually do that??

can I borrow him for a while to teach my dh how to work the washing machine?

Squirrel3 · 11/02/2006 10:07

I think the body snatchers have replaced him overnight, not that I'm complaining.

I've got this fluey thing that's doing the rounds. He did the same thing yesterday, and he ran me a lovely bubble bath, washed my back, then washed my hair and conditioned it for me!

Cleaned the kitchen (properly!!! ) washed the kitchen floor, more washing etc, then cooked a lovely lamb roast dinner, cleaned the kitchen again, cleaned the hob and oven!!

I'm not sure that I want to get better!

blimey... marry him quick

I'd drag this illness out... he'll have the whole house spotless at this rate....

Squirrel3 · 13/02/2006 08:59

He is not usually this considerate, just your normal average man!

I looked in the fridge a few minutes ago and he has cleaned that too!!

I'm a bit bemused TBH!
