My 3 year old tried it a couple of different times and it makes her sick... now she's been prescribed it again and am nervous to try again... Any other side effects?

Was she sick the moment she took it? Could be the saltiness of the taste (I know from my son and from personal experience). The only way I could get my son not to throw is straight back up was to dissolve it into squash rather than water so it disguised the taste.

If, however, you mean a delayed reaction then I would definitely speak to pharmacist/gp about an alternative.

I also diluted mine with squash. Can't think what else it would be.

Hi, nope delayed reaction, the 1st time she took it she had a couple of days then 12 hrs of really bad diarrhoea then 12 hrs of vomiting, I had been decreasing it slowly because the clearout seemed overly excessive, tried again and same thing (but straight away) 12 hrs diarrhoea, 12 hrs vomiting..had a paeds appt today and basically told to deal. To start 2 days with 2 sachets, then 2 days with 4 sachets then however long it takes to clear with 8 sachets then 2 a day again for about 3mths...

I know it needs to be done for her sake but isn't it dangerous too? I will def try again but wasn't sure if my dc was the only one to experience this.
