Really worried bout my dad. He has found a lump on his penis

My mum called yesterday and told me that my dad has found a small lump on his penis. She told me that he didn't want her to tell me so not to mention it to him. He has said that he will go to the doctors in a few days. He has a few illnesses like colitis and thyroid and he also does a very physical and stressful job ( chef ) that I know is getting harder for him. I just can't get rid of this feeling of impending doom. I am a worrier anyway but I just called my dad knowing my mum was out and he seemed different somehow. He was not his usual self. He did not mention it but he was subdued. I am so worried that it could be serious

Don't spin with worst case senario. Won't help you or him. He just has to get it looked at by a GP. 9 out of 10 are nothing, so why worry until you know?

I think it is most likely to be some sort of benign cyst...try not to panic. I am sure the gp will be able to reassure him when your mum gets him to go, a few days here or there won't make a any difference. try and keep calm for him and for yourself.

Thanks. I know it will probably be a cyst but I just have sucha dreadful feeling. Will call my mum and make sure the sees the gp
