ds1 (3.8) had it with spots all over his body before he was one
ds2 (2.6) had ONE suspicious looking spot 10 days ago on his back...flat red, then weepy, then crusty and nothing else.
ds3 (7 mos) had/has ONE suspicious looking spot two days ago which hasn't yet changed although he is off his food, not himself, slight temperature, clingy etc.

Is it possible to have chickenpox so mild that you get just the ONE spot? Chickenpox has been going round ds1/2 nursery.

I guess a single spot is unusual.... but Iapparently had german measles with no symptoms whatsoever...
DD also had only a hanful of spots when she chicken pox, so perhaps is possible?

I though the blister in the spot was really easy to diagnose. Maybe worth having the youngest checked for a correct dx?

Well ds3 has woken up with more spots, so I reckon he has it. He has not been himself for the last few days. Still don't know whether ds2 had it with his one spot.
