Verrucas bazuka?

My daughter scuffed her foot on a mat at the swimming pool one week ago, yesterday I noticed what I thought was a pinch mark and pus (gross I know) however a nurse has now told me it is a veruca but didn't offer any advice on treatment.
I have brought some bazuka gel but am wondering is this the best method of getting rid of it. The directions / precautions seem quite severe espically as it says "discontine use if excessive itching occurs" my daughter (5 years) is a wimp at the best of times and what I might call mild irration would be like getting a limb cut off to her ! How do I judge the level of irritation caused? She is also just recovering from this nasty flu bug virus doing the rounds and is not really eating, does this affect circulation as the precautions say not to use it in this case
Any advice would be very gratefully recieved

DON'T TREAT IT!!!!

will look for other thread.
if it is infected then the infection will need treating but i wouldn't treat the verruca. they go on their own but if you treat them they become stubborn and painful ime
certainly i wouldnt Bazuka it; it certainly made things worse here

Banana skin is fab.

Told DD1 we were going to try this having seen it on another thread, the verrucca went at the mere threat! Both all gone.
