Took DS2(22months)to GPs today, he's been in hospital a couple of times beause of wheezy episodes after having a cold. We usually give him ventolin when he gets wheezy. After discussion with GP she recommened trying him on serevant through the winter to try and stop him becoming wheezy when he gets a cold and needing the high doses of ventolin.

Anyway when I got home noticed on the garb that comes with the inhaler it says not recommened for under 4's. Can't ring GP'S as phone is out of order until saturday (perfect timing!).

Going to talk to pharmacist tomorrow, but just wondered if anybody out there had experience of under 4 on serevant.

i'm getting all confused with the inhalors. dd1 is on becotide and ventolin, same as her dad, a little boy i know has 4 inhalors, ventolin, becotide, seravent and an orange one(dont know what it is, reconise the others from the colors).

try foning nhs direct, dunno the number, someone else might.
