bit embarasing!!!!

i had a urine infection about 2 weeks ago gp gave me 5 day antibiotics but about 3 day after finishing them i have a problem if i dont go to toilet as soon a need to go i am absolutly busting and having to cross legs literaly just cannot hold it no problems with this in any advice

I had cystitis a while back, and I was like this when it was at its worst.

Maybe the antibiotics didn't get rid of your urine infection.

Hi there, I am a microbiologist on maternity leave at the mo, I spend a lot of time at work studying pee (lucky me!) sounds as though the antibiotics haven't worked. You could have built up a resistance to the previous antibiotics so definitely get to your GP and ask for a different type, there are plenty they can prescribe for you. Hope you feel better soon
