gastroenteritis?????

hiya just been to see the gp as dd has had very bad diorrhea since saturday, he told me she had gastroenteritis he gave me some dioralite but didnt say whether to still give her milk or not? ive heard that with this you should try to avoid dairy products but i'm not sure, shes been living on dry bread soup and spuds for 2 days any advise please!!!!

My son has the same (7 months). GP has told us to take his formula down to 1/4 strength until it clears up. Hideous as he is so hungry. He won't drink dioralyte.

Give milk
Doc told me to feed DS as usual - milk and solids - he has had it since Fri and is 11 mths

it seems to have cleared up now, i gave her milk this morning and it doesn't look like its done any harm. Thanks for all your replys
