How swollen are your glands? You know if you have inflammation somewhere, your glands nearby can be a bit swollen and painful too.

I would go to the GP as it could be other things too. Hope it is just a dermatitis with your glands responding to inflammation as they are supposed to do.

Good luck

They feel really lumpy and hard - like little pebbles. I have been at doc and had 2 lots of anti'bs over the past month.

Going to doc next week, had horrific night sweats last night, had to change the bed Blush

Saltire · 04/04/2012 21:54

The skin patches weren't really mich of an issue when I first went.

Does the rash look like this? Only ask because can be misdiagnosed

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erythema_nodosum

bonnieslilsister · 06/04/2012 16:42

So many things on the skin can be mis diagnosed. The only way to diagnose correctly is a skin biopsy of which I have had many Sad

bonnieslilsister · 12/04/2012 22:40

How did you get on at the doctor's op?

Saltire · 14/04/2012 15:55

Sorry, I forgot to reply, been a bit busy helping DH ready to go

anyway she said that she "thinks" the ngiht sweats are symptomatic of my age - 41, and that the red sunburn patches are due to my fibromaylgia as "red, tender skin" is a symptom of it. As for the swollen glands (which I've had 2 lots of anti'bs for), still haven't gone down, and she said "its a just been a bad infection that is tkaing time to disperse.

Hmm

Hi, I had raised red patches on the inside of my legs, and I thought it was ring worm, (which is not very pleasant) but it turned out to be an allergy to blue cheese, in fact any cheese. It also seemed to get worse when I drank any alcohol or milk.

You can develop intolerances to certain food types you may not have had when you are younger. It seemed to go hand in hand with hormone rebalancing, I had an early menopause (at 40!) I highly recommend HRT even for a short while, I was only on them for 3 months, and it really helped me get through the worst symptoms. It may help you?

Hope you feel better soon.
