Poor bruised DS fell over the side of the bath, any ideas?

I've checked him over, his breathing's fine, he's had some child-brufen and half an hour down the line he's not seeming too bothered. But he went with quite a bang and I've known people crack ribs doing that, is there anything I should watch out for? I know that even if a rib is cracked there's not much that can be done having bust one of mine 30 years ago climbing on stage at a gig...

Have you phoned NHS direct? 08454647

I found them very useful when DS had a sudden puking sickness when we were on holiday in the middle of nowhere. They told me what to look out for, which was reassuring to know.

Sorry not in UK but agree phone a health line. And, when you have had all clear from gp, it would be well worth your while taking your ds to an cranial sacral therapist if you can as they can relieve the compressions.

He seems absolutely fine this morning, bouncing all over the house as usual, not even visibly bruised. So I think I'll just keep a careful eye on him but not worry.

Brilliant.

Thank goodness for the bounce-ability of DCs :)
