Bruised vein

Yesterday as I was putting something in the microwave i bashed the inside of my wrist on the edge of the door. It was immeidiatly very painful and right where my veins are running it seemed to swell up.

Now the whole of the bit where my wrist meets my hand is very very bruised, purple, sore and a bit swollen.

Can't believe i did so much damage bashing the edge of the door.

Is it my vein that is bruised ?

The bruise will be because you have knocked the vein - bruises are where you bleed beneath the skin, so you won't have bruised the vein. Bruises look worse where the veins are close to the surface, which might explain why your wrist looks so bruised.

If it doesn't feel any better in the morning get it checked out.

Ahhh right i see. It is very painful (not painful enough not to type ).

Will see how it is tommorow and get it checked if no better.

It was my own fault for rushing and not clearing a space for me to open the bloody door properly.
