dd 1 yr old had mmr jab 2 days ago. Not been herself since yesterday. Not eating much and has quite bad diarohea. ( I know I've spelt that wrong) I have changed 4 really bad nappies just today!

Is this due to needle does anyone know?

Yes, this is quite common.

I know with the booster MMR, my DS had a nasty rash on the needle site. It lasted for about a week.

feel awful - her bottom is really sore even just changing her making her cry! Doctor said she may get a rash in 10 days but nothing else! I do wish they would give you more of and idea what to expect!

hmm dd reacted quickly but mainly flu like symptoms and bad eczema. Does she get horrid nappies when teething ? Also it may be worth checking with dr that she hasn't got a fungal infection in her nappy area - that can be really painful and angry looking , and needs a prescribed cream to clear it up.

she is teething as well actually but she is usually not too bad with the nappies. Maybe the combination of both things together has made it worse. I will check the other thing out though just in case.

DD also reacted within 2 days of having the MMR. Although the guidelines and information sheet suggests it will be a week or so for reactions, from MN I have realised that this is not always the case.
