cube of jelly dissolved in hot water for a tickly cough!

sunchowder · 03/02/2006 20:01

Enid, I do that all the time and I am not pregnant. I don't know if you will agree with any alternative stuff. Cupping is great for reliving coughing. I am sure that you are burning Olbas and keeping a humidfier? Or...just take some cough medicine and apologize to the baby! I dyed my hair and used nose spray and my DD turned out just fine.

Enid · 03/02/2006 20:02

I think I have some jelly

does olbas help with a cough?

I am coughing up really yucky stuff

sunchowder · 03/02/2006 20:03

Yes, Olbas is fantastic. Please burn a few drops in water and you can take some and rub it on your chest (a small bit).

enid · 03/02/2006 20:06

sorry explain plese sunchowder

how do I burn it in water?

OP posts:
sunchowder · 03/02/2006 20:07

If it's yucky, you might have to go get antibiotics---so sorry for you. The cough always gets worse towards the evening, doesn't it?

Enid · 03/02/2006 20:08

jelly works for everyone!
BAsically all cough syrups are is sugar to coat your throat!
Makes dh feel spesh too!

Do you have a burner? YOu can use one of those candle melters, I thought everyone had a burner. Anyway, something that you can light a tea light under, one tablespoon of water to about 4 drops of Olbas oil. Light the tealight and it scents the room with the oil and soothes your cough.
