Dd (11) keeps complaining of numb legs. What could this be?

She has been commenting on it for a couple of days now. She seems fully able to move around and not in pain but if she has been sitting normally in a dining chair or on the sofa or wherever her legs feel numb afterwards.

She has also had some hip pain after learning to do the splits in gymnastics.

Would they all be connected?

Hi Carrots, not sure I can help but saw that your post had no answer since yesterday. I'd definitely see GP if its still going on - could be a trapped nerve. And yes I think they are connected. DD1 gets terrible growing pains with cramp, when I read the title of your post I thought that might be it, and DD2 has had back pain from trampolining. Sometimes kids are not as flexible as you think! Hope its all better soon if not already.

Thanks BurningBridges. I think I will go back to the GP and see what they have to say. Hopefully I am just being over protective and just making a fuss Grin
