just seen gp with dd aged 2 about another chest infection got all the usual advice re her inhalers steam etc but then he asked me if she talks in sentences? she doesnt not really and apart from one of her friends i dont think that many of them do either she was 2 in dec so should she be talking in sentences? she says sometimes stuff like mummy do it but its usually one or two words together and she makes it clear what she is on about. is she normal or should i be worrying about her development

she is normal. dd was barely saying 2 words at once at that age and is fine now.

I used to give DS a choice of clothes, the day DS turned 2 he strung a sentence together.
He said "not wearing that and not wearing that" pointing at both the choices . I called my Mum to make sure I hadn't imagined it.

He didn't do it again for a long time.

And he never got a choice of clothes again.
