Does sudden heavy periods means the start of The Change?

My periods have always been regular and medium flow, but for the past 6 months I have noticed that they are really heavy with lots and lots of clots (pardon me). Does this means I'm releasing more eggs now and therefore the end is near?

I don't have any infections or fibroids.

Same thing happened to me a couple of years ago, and I was checked out.

Gyneocologist said it could be the beginning of the change (I was also having bleeding every week or two), or could just be one of those things.

He said live with it, but if I couldn't, then maybe think about a hysterectomy.

Since this time, they've evened out again, and I'm sort of back to normal.

I know it zaps you though!

I've been wondering this - feel exhausted by it too tbh as only two weeks since last time and I get night sweats which are awful.

But I'm nearly 36.

Go and get checked out - it's only going to worry you otherwise.
