What can I do about myfungal nail infection???

Hi, I've been to the doctors as I have a fungal nail infection which has spread to about 6 of my toenails.
She said I have to send off a sample, then it could be treated with tablets and cream. We are trying for a baby though, so I won't be able to have this treatment. she said I'd have to wait until after the baby. I plan to breast feed too, so it could be years before I can have it treated. Sad

Is there anything I can try? Any natural remadies or over the counter treatments that would be safe to take?

Thanks. Smile

Hi, I've been using Vicks and it's cleared up a treat! I can't believe it. There's only a few patches left. I've only been using it for 2 days. Smile

I'll carry on using it until it's all cleared up.

I've been using Curanail (ok, maybe not every week Hmm) for a year - don't think it's cleared the infection, as still itchy under my big toe nails. I will try the Vicks - am crossing fingers as I want pretty toes now the sun has come out, and the boots are off.

Good luck. Smile I'm hoping for nice toes for the summer too.

I've tried the Vicks for weeks and weeks - nothing.

I've had dodgy toenails for 5 years, 8/10 nails quite badly affected Sad.

Can't take tablets, I have stomach problems.

I need to know more about this laser!

This is quite an old thread on nail fungus treatment - but I thought I may add some stuff which maybe of use to treat the old nails...... nailfunguszap - htttp://nailfunguszap.co.uk as an option to try too

I have tried it and it worked and friends have too. patience wins with it- as with any nail fungus treatment - it will only go as quick as fresh nail grows - but its curable and treatable so do not despair!

Good luck and hope of use.

Neem oil is working well for me. Apply twice a day and let it soak in.
