Gp doesn't seem to think it will be a problem, but I'm not sure!

I was told not.

Cheeseandbiscuits · 18/03/2012 12:59

Yes you can.

Northey · 18/03/2012 13:01

Ooh, conflict :o

The most sensible thing is to phone the hospital where you will be having it, and ask them their policy on the matter.

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 18/03/2012 13:04

Yes. My doctor is very keen for me to have it done. She was annoyed that it has been postponed once already!

Agree ring the colposcopy co-ordinator and check with them. If they do go ahead, they may not be able to do any treatment (if needed) but at least can get an assessment done.

The hospital I go to for colposcopy says not. I've had to juggle appointments so many times because of it!

inhibernation · 21/03/2012 20:21

Mine says yes as long as bleed isn't heavy

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 21/03/2012 20:32

I rang the hospital. As my doctor was quite keen for me to have the procedure, and it had been postponed once already, the hospital said go. It was fine, and they didn't find anything untoward.
