advice / suggestions please. my DD (12yrs) is constantly tired, even in the morning. she goes to bed 8pm-ish and wakes about 6.45. she has great big bags under her eyes poor thing. she does sleep in at weekends but sadly she one of these folk who has to get up when she wakes up (her Dad's genes - not mine). this has been going on for 18mths - have taken her to the Doctors but she's fine as far as anaemia etc. Her diet's pretty gd - would prefer if she ate more fruit / veg. she's active and doing well at school. any suggestions gratefully received

Try some general vitamins which might perk her up. Could it be a reaction to a forthcoming teenage growth spurt?

Get thyroid checked if not done already, and maybe B12.... Just keep an eye on her, if school starts suffering push more with the gp
