I have a really bad bikini line which spreads about 2/3 inches down my thighs and also a bit of a hairy bum Blush it cannot be controlled by waxing or shaving. Sometimes i could shave for up to an hour and still not get it all, then it grows again within 24 hours and is really painful and itchy. It's really annoying and actually affects my confidence quite a lot and im embarrased when i have sex and can't wear bikini bottoms or skirts because of it. Has anyone had lazer hair removal down there ? Was it painful? Was it worth it? Apologies for no paragraphs, on my phone

Well I am no expert, but my ex boss, at the coffee machine yesterday morning, decided to tell me (for no apparent reason) that she had had this done - 20 years ago....and had now recommended her dd did the same. It sounds like it was very successful... I have to admit I was a bit Shock - it was early and I neeeded the coffee.

She was bemoaning the sunny weather as she has recently had similar done on her chin hair, and apparently you have to stay out of the sun.......I am glad she is my EX boss, as I have all these images now.....

I had my bikini line and underarms done and its brilliant. To me, it didn't hurt any more than waxing, infact probably less so. Since I first started treatment the clinic where I go has added this cold air blast thing as the laser fires and that makes it hurt even less. I have very thick hair, like you I was shaving/waxing forever only for it to all be back the next day Blush I'd get infected ingrown hairs too Sad but not any more. I have to go back once every 18 months or so for a "top up" treatment, because what it does is stops the message from the hair follicle, telling the hair to grow, reaching the actual hair so it just stops growing, but the connection can grow back. BUT if it does grow back it's baby fine and easily zapped away again. I use the "Skin" clinics. Have a look at them online, you get some really good deals. HTH :)
