I had a sickness and diaohrea (probably wrong spelling) bug about a month ago. Have never been so sick in my 35 years of life. About 40 times in one night towards the end I was just heaving but no vomit!!!!! My mum had it about 2 weeks ago that was worrying as she is 72yrs. Last night ds1 (6years) had it that was even worse than my mum's but luckily not as bad as mine, he is off today and looking really bad and feeling grotty. Am terrified ds2 23months will get it.
Has anyone else on MN had this terrible nasty bug? or is it just my family. I hope not otherwise we look like right germ ridden people!!!!

Yes I've had it and was quite ill. DM and DD have also had it but both recovered after 24-36hrs. Very nasty bug. Have also posted on other thread about it.

I had it - it was horrific......All I could think about was how I didn't want ds (3 mths) to get it but luckily neither he nor dh got it.

Scary story, but a friend has had it 3 times....
