Does anyone know normal HB levels for a woman (not pregnant) please

when I googled it came up as 120 g/l to 160 g/l but as the figure I have been given is single digit I think that it might be a different scale in UK

clary. you are right to go back and have this checked out, not because i think you need a transfusion. but because you need to find out whats causing it, should it happen again.
Dietery insufficency and heavy periods would be the next most obvious cause, and this can be corrected with advice and treatment.
Really would not worry if you are feeling ok. but do make an appt to see your gp and discuss the bigger picute
