Did you have nits as a child the way todays kids do?

I didnt. Maybe I was so antisocial I didnt ever get near enough to anyone to catch them! But I have to wet comb my kids every couple of days because at least one of my dds will no doubt have a big nit crawling about and I try and get them before they lay zillions of eggs.
Were you always riddled?

No, and to the best of my knowledge I don't recall anyone in my class at primary or secondary school having had them/it . I was quite shocked when a note was sent round dd's nursery advising parents of a case
