And ear ache in both ears :-( any other day and I'd be having the day off but it is really important that I go in tomorrow. I've phoned ooh and they've told me to self medicate. Ive tried everything but was wondering if anyone had any magic remedies just to get me through tomorrow. Please!!!

I personally swear by goldenseal tincture ,but that's just me and I'm sure you'd not be able to track down on a sunday night ...

Lots of fluids , honey and lemon with dispersable aspirin dissolved in it ,or paracetomal .Early night .

Good luck tomorrow - perhaps as it's your first day you won't be expected to be fully operational ?
Can you discreetly let slip when you turn up that you're a bit below par ?

You poor love, what a horrible situation! I find gargling with dispersable aspirin helps - put two in a small amount of water, swish around and get it all mixed up, then give the back of your throat a good old bathe with it. Get an early night, obviously. Lots of painkillers tomorrow, remember you can alternate paracetamol with ibuprofen. Good luck!

Aw thank you both. It's made me feel better having some sympathy! I've just got back from out of hours with 2 doses of anti biotics to take before tomorrow morning and then another weeks worth for tonsilutus. Thanks for your kind advice I'll be following it throughout tomorrow. I'm a teacher so hoping my class will not be too noisy!
