6 yr old, rash under armpits? Viral?

My 6 yr old is just on the downside of having a virus. The high temp, coughing one.
Anyway, temp down last night with no peaks since yesterday so was going back to school tomorrow. But have just noticed small rash under both armpits. Only 5 to 10 spots on each and not angry.
He seems much better, do you think this could be a viral rash or a sweat rash (or is he too young for that)
Any ideas ???

Does he have a sore throat and have you had a look? High temp, rash under armpits is a sign of scarlet fever.

Just had a look and can't see any redness, but he says it hurts a bit going down (however, he is agreeing to any ailment at the moment for extra days in front of the telly...)

Pink tongue? Ds had scarlet fever a few years ago. It started off with a headache, very high temp (this only lasted a few hours though), rash under his armpits, pink tongue (lasted all of 10 minutes) and a sore throat. I took him to the GP because I couldn't identify the rash. It wasn't the same as a heat rash, very small, red spots. Have you looked online? It could be a heat rash, especially as he's had a temp. Heat rashes are more pink and blotchy.
