Can you walk your children to school? I live a mile away from DD's school. I drop her at school and then walk back a long route pushing DS in buggy. When I pick her up I do the long route on the way to the school. I manage to walk 40 miles a week just doing this and it doesn't really eat into my time that much.

Hi Marrow, Yes, I walk to and from school, but its only half a mile or so, both ways, and I bicycle everywhere else- to work, to the shops etc... Still feel like a doughnut with icing on top like its not enough, though...I don't can't drive, and can't swim, so I want to learn at our local pool where DDs go for lessons... its on the agenda. Any time management suggestions are welcome!!!

I used to be a size 8-10, but in a year and a half with a liver illness and weird medication etc, I feel like a whale. I find myself lacking energy, and can't sleep in the day much. The stress is making me pile on weight, with the result that I'm now pushing 60 kilos on the scales....
