crash diet?

I need to lose 7 kg (15 lbs) in 7 weeks because I'm having a scheduled breast reduction in March. Although exercising for 30 mins 4-5 days / wk & following weight watchers, I need to get rid of this extra fat FAST. Any ideas?

Reduce your daily intake and cut out the junk (if any) would be a good start. No alcohol. Make lunch your main meal and have a light dinner. No snacking between meals.

sansouci · 28/01/2006 14:10

It's the alcohol bit I'll have the biggest trouble with. None at all? Really?

If you are doing that much exercise per week and rigidly sticking to WW you should lose the weight with out 'crash' dieting.

Carmenere · 28/01/2006 14:12

You can susbtitute for booze on WW. ie eat a bit less or exercise a bit more to earn a glass of wine.

sansouci · 28/01/2006 14:19

I am losing weight with exercise & ww but not fast enough! I know it's stupid to crash but I really have to meet this deadline. (If the idea of not drinking any alcohol fills me with horror, could I be an alcoholic, btw?)

you're kidding! what, you eat cereal for 2 meals & steamed fish & veg for the 3rd? How much cereal? skimmed (ugh!) milk?

tis my down fall, hiccup. But seriously this diet works!!
If your having an op please steer clear of atkins, it would give you the weight loss but the health implications so close to surg are not worth it.

sansouci · 29/01/2006 22:24

oh, thanks for telling me! was thinking of the good (not)ol' protein diet...
