scarlet fever - anyone awake?

I'm pretty sure ds has scarlet fever. He's 3 and there have been confirmed cases at preschool. He's got a soaring temp, slight rash on the face with. Burnng red cheeks and a pale tongue. He's asleep finally but I'm wondering what to do? It seems irresponsible to take him to the walk in centre where other people could catch it, but my understanding is that he needs antibiotics. I'm also 37 weeks pg, which the notice at .nursery said could cause problems, though a quick Google tells me its unlikely. Is out of hours the way to go with this? Could they prescribe something without me having to take him in?

He has to be checked by a doc. who will prescribed antibiotics. I think they have to do a swab too to confirm if it is a simple infection or more complex.
Call them first, you should have a number for them and follow their lead. Or call NHS direct
