So many supplements to choose from..I don't know which to take

I suffer from irratability, rage, low mood, night sweats, no libido, insomnia (I can get to sleep no problem but wake up in the middle of the night for a couple of hours). I am 35 with 2 DCs.
I'm pretty sure it is a hormonal imbalance, possibly low estrogen. I have been this way for over 10 years but it seems to be getting worse.
After having my DD 14 months ago my mood was great & my libido went through the roof! This can only be down to hormones as with a newborn & having just had a c-section I think it's pretty odd to think about sex all day when I hadn't thought about it in years (if I could help it!), however this only lasted for about 8 weeks & then it was gone again :(

I haven't seen my GP about this, partly down to embarrassment & partly because I don't want to weep over her, so have been looking at various supplements to take but there are soooooo many to choose from I don't know where to begin!

I started on 5 HTP for a couple of weeks but no change, so now I am weighing up between St John's Wort, Maca, Agnus Castus, Magnesium, zinc, B6, calcium....the list goes on & on and I don't know how to decide.

Do I just try & test each one, one at a time? How do I know which can go together? I am baffled. Does anyone have any advice they can offer.

Thank you

I take Berocca (not the effervescant one, the tablet) every day. Since I started taking it 2 years ago, I have been able to come off anti-depressants. I am sure, like you, that these sort of symptoms are due to an imbalance in mineral or hormone levels.
