Quitting Smoking.....my last day today...!

I'm so looking forward to it as there are so many plus points to doing it...but I'm also apprehensive....
I gave up 7yrs ago 7months so I know I can do it, I'm kinda dreading the niggles of wanting one.
I will be using the patches (which I used before) & DH also has one of those intelicig's so I'm hopefully we'll be ok...
Please give me hope & let me know how you coped in the same situation

I've given up today. Patch is on and I'm determined to crack it this time. So many reasons not to smoke anymore. I've tried so many times but always gone back to it but I'm sick of feeling rubbish, spending all the money, disappointing my children and smelling horrible. I tried quitting last year with Champix and couldn't cope with the nausea. Made me feel worse than smoking. Good luck and let me know how you get on!

Good Luck to all you quitters! hope it goes well. I'm 32days smoke free, still a long way to go but it is worth it and it will be even more worth it in years to come.

Don't be apprehensive, every time you feel the nicotine niggle just think 'i'm so glad i don't have to have a cigarette now'.

Enjoy being smoke free... and richer... and healthier... and happier and more attractive... and warmer!.. and prouder.

I had my last fag on December 19th.
I am using an E cigarette (Skycig) and it'd great. I don't feel the need for a real fag at all.
Plus I can smoke my Ecig while watching tv

Eh....Im feeling good, Ive been out for a meal with DH & DC's for our valentines meal...(not so romantic) but Ive been fine....Im even on the champagne & no urge for a cig.
Been to the no-smoking clinic tonight & she was really impressed to how positive we are about giving up. When I blew into her machine it showed 0 & DH was 3.....so that is def a non-smoker even though I really tested myself by going round to my friend's house knowing full well that she smokes. I was absolutely fine & it certainly didnt make me want one, infact when I got home I had to change my clothes because they smelt so bad of smoke. I know Im gonna be one of the worse ex-smokers.
Anyway.....well done MamaKaren & MrsHoolie it sure does give me hope knowing othes out there are doing the same. I know if I can do 24hrs then I can do forever....Im so determined this time. I have faith in myself & that helps me so much
