strange knee sensation - like electric shock - not typical aches and pain

hello - I think I am officially starting to deteriorate into middle age......

Over the last week I have experieenced strange sensation in my knee nearly every day. It just feels like a sharp electric shock. It comes and goes really quickly but once it felt so painful it made me feel nauseous. It has happened when standing each time - standing waiting to pay at sainsburys, standing in the kitchen cooking, standing talking in playground and just now as I returned home from a walk - had been out for a good hour and no pain on walking.

I dont get knee pain at all - but few years ago did have knee stiffness when walking up stairs occasionally (was carrying bit more weight at the time) and this pain is nothing like that.

I dont have varicose veins - any ideas???? K.

Sounds like a trapped nerve. Get yourself off to a chiropractor. Smile
