Come and reassure nothing nasty is going to happen to me before I can get the doctor to listen.

I am sure I have a henria.

DD2's birth was traumatic. She became stuck I delivered with forceps and no epidural. The pushing was immense. This was Nov 2010.

Since then I have had really bad lower stomach pain. I can't bend without pain behind my belly button and feeling nauseous. if I cough or sneeze I can feel something pulling in my stomach, this also happens when I try to turn quickly in bed. I have stopped bending etc if possible but it is becoming unbearable.

I have other problems as well since dd2's birth. I get really bad indegestion/heatburn pain, once dh even called the paramedics out as he thought I was having a heart attack.

I have stopped bending etc if possible but it is becoming unbearable.

I have been to the doctor so many times about this but keep being told, by various different doctors, that this is just acid problems.

I can't seem to make them listen and I'm scared I'm going to die of this hernia (or whatever it is) before anybody listens.

Tomorrow I am going to book a doctors appointment (yet again) or if I can't get one I'm going to drop in clinic. I don't know how to make them listen but I have to.

So, to put my mind at ease for the moment, can you reassure that I'm not going to leave my little girls motherless, that I cannot die from a hernia. Silly I know, but after a painful night, I'm panicking and there is nothing I can do today.

I'm sure you will be OK until you can get it looked at properly - unless of course if the pain got really severe, in which case I'd got to a and e. (But I think you'd really know something was seriously wrong at that point)I had a hernia for quite a while, - it wasn't considered an emergency, but was something that had to be dealt with.

The pain turning over in bed, sounds very familiar, that's when I could feel mine pulling. Do you have an obvious bulge of any sort where it hurts?

As far as getting them to listen is concerned, I would say you are very concerned that you may have a hernia and you would like to be referred to a hernia clinic/specialist at the hospital. Can you take someone to the docs with you for moral support?

Hope you manage to get it sorted out.

I can't believe they are blaming this pain on 'acid'.
It makes me wonder about 'doctors' today.

Hope you get it properly diagnosed soon.
Then you can start to feel better.
