I decided after 5 years of citalopram to try and get off it as things has got a bt better and i thought i could cope. I came down from 40mg to 20 mg and the to 10 mgs for 2 weeks 2 months ago. Since then i have been in agony in my right arm stretching down to my fingers. I cant even out my coat on without wincing. At first I thought it was from moving packing boxes but now it is starting in my left arm. Is this a symptom that anyone else has experienced ?
I honestly feel like I am in my 60's shuffling along and am considering going back on citalopram.

I get this and it's from a neck injury...

Is your neck tender?

Mine started when lifting heavy stuff and hurting my neck/shoulder you see

Could also be carpal tunnel - mine started in this way.

Sounds like nerve pain. Do you have a 'pulling' sensation down the length of your arm? (Only nerves run the length of the arm) does it feel like red hot pokers are being forced down it?

If so you need to see your doctor. Chances are its coming from your neck.
