anyone got this?

throat feels like i havent had any water for a week, all dried out and sticky. have a drink of water and as soon as stop drinking, feels the same. no cough but not much in the way of saliva. also finding it hard to swallow. always getting bits stuck and have to cough to dislodge.

sounds like swollen glands.

Go to the GP tomorrow. You may need antibiotics if it's bacterial.

Gargle with aspirin. Works wonders! Trust me... am suffering with you.

no swelling that i can see or feel - could it still be glands?

gargle with soluble asprin i assume?

and - glad you're aboard; misery loves company!

festiveface · 24/01/2006 18:23

may not apply to yu at all but i had that kind of feeling and it was due to being stressed ans anxious.

Mytwopenceworth · 24/01/2006 22:35

Central heating does this to me.
FWIW I always worry about throat cancer etc. Last time I decided to mention my worry to the GP and was quite relieved to notice him stifle a laugh.

I hope you feel better soon.
