Pus from Penis?

Was washing DS when I noticed a microscopic dot of dry 'white' on the tip of his penis. As I squeezed it a tiny amount of what i can only describe as white clear pus came out...

Called my MIL who said it sounds like an infection, to bathe him (preferably in salt) and take him to GP tomorrow if still concerned.

Anyone experienced this pls?

DS is 7wks old

Has he got a temperature at all? I'm not sure about bathing him in salt, sounds like that might be painful. I would take him to the doctor tomorrow and perhaps call NHS Direct tonight?

No redness, not swollen, looks completely normal.

Think i'll call NHS Direct then. Worry, worry, worry from day one ... does it ever stop?

bathing in salt is fine for willies, my mum ran salty baths for me after both my kids and i really thought that it would sting but doesnt at all. i bathed my ds willy when he had an infection after the doc recommended it

I asked my nurse abotu doing a salty bath as i have a wound infection after suregery and i was told that salt baths have been proven to do very little for infections.
