Pains in the ball of my foot. Any one else get this ?

I have been getting a pain in the ball of my left foot when I wear heals. It's the sort of pain you get when you have been wearing heels at a party and danced all night ( if my memory serves me right). I know the answer is not to wear heels but I don't wear them all th time. I usednto wear them constantly before I had dd1 4 years ago with out problem. I am just a little confused as it is only in one foot. Has any one else experienced this.

Yes, I get this when I wear heels. The less often I wear them, the worse it is when I do! Have you tried some gel pads in your shoe? They can be quite helpful.

Is it when you wear them for a long period or after a few mins

Metatarsalgia or plantar fasciitis probably.

Please can you elaborate lyndie. What are these and what should/can I do

Or sthg like Morton's neuroma (scary sounding but benign - apart from the pain).

Should I assume that I just need to bin the heels.
